Reviews from my clients
She explains her treatment methods in a way that we can understand and guides us on what we can do to help outside of the sessions.
The attention to detail, comfort of Rex and his acceptance of the treatment is Amanda’s priority. Her one and only focus is to improve the quality of day to day life of either sporting, active, injured or elderly dogs.
I think she is amazing and I know our dogs do too!
Hey Amanda,
Just thought I’d let you know, we had a flyball competition on 26th August and 3rd September and Boo was amazing running sub 5 seconds regularly at both competitions.
She has another new PB of 4.95 seconds. So she’s gone from an average 5.1-5.2 dog to and average 4.9 to 5.0 dog.
Only thing that’s changed this year is that she’s been getting the massages from you so fair to say I think they have helped her to speed up 😁xx
Ludo loved his initial consultation with you.
It was also so reassuring for us to be able to speak to a professional regarding his development. And to make sure that he is off to the best possible start in life, whilst still at such a young age.
Ludo immediately felt comfortable in your presence, despite still being a bouncy puppy. Thank you again for your time and wisdom
Amanda was so fantastic with my Retired Police Dog Tex!
He loves her visits and falls asleep during her massages – she is very professional with him and perceptive to what he needs.
I trust her completely to understand what he needs – thank you Amanda!’
Despite Conker being a bouncy dog he hid his condition well but, I knew something wasn’t right & was grateful to Amanda for confirming.
She made us both feel at ease & was conscious of treating Conker at his own speed.
On the 3rd session I was amazed when Conker went straight on the mat ready to start his therapy, proof that they’ve built up a great bond & trust.
I’d highly recommend, great communication & feedback.
Amanda treated Roxie with the utmost calm, respect and care. Always allowing her to lead the treatment (even when she was stubborn & refused to turn over!) and watching her intently for any reaction to her touch so she could adapt if needed.
She explained everything clearly to me and always made sure all questions were answered before leaving.
It’s clear how passionate she is about improving dogs’ health & welfare and we’re very grateful to have been a case study and will look to continue treatment.
Amanda came to see our Hungarian Vizsla girl, Lola as she isn’t herself lately. Lola was a bit anxious at the beginning, but Amanda was brilliant. She gave her time to settle, and patiently waited for Lola to approach her, indicating that she was fine in her presence and ready.
Lola showed complete trust towards her, I believe she even fell asleep at some point. It was heart warming to see her in complete peace (for a while anyway).
Amanda was calm and talked softly to her through their session. She shows knowledge in her specialty, clearly knows what she is doing. Lola and I would highly recommend her!
It was an interesting few sessions. As an experienced dog handler Amanda brought not just the Galen technique but also a great person to quiz and discuss other concerns.
I would recommend Amanda and the technique to others. Also if what I have been shown is not enough I will call Amanda in to ‘settle’ Tilly if required.
Tilly was very central to Amanda’s attention and she was prepared to be flexible in approach and treatment setting to make Tilly receptive.
Brian has had 4 massages now with Amanda.
He loves them! She is passionate about what she does and it’s infectious.
The before and after photos showed the improvement in his posture.
Brian has had a double cruciate surgery and onset osteoporosis, he was actually limping before the treatment, I’m aware of so much more now. Amanda always shares her knowledge, so I can continue treatments at home.
Brian hasn’t reverted back and he definitely can walk with more ease now, which is a joy to see. Thank you Amanda
My dogs really do live the life of Riley – young Etta has been enjoying treatment courtesy of Amanda at Canine Massage Therapy Essex. This was her very first visit – can you tell she was relaxed and enjoying the attention? ❤️.
Thanks Amanda – your calm energy made Etta comfortable from the start. 😎❤️😊
